Buyer-side procurement role
About CampusCart Desk
CampusCart Desk is an independent sourcing service for US business buyers comparing utility cart configurations and factory quotations. We organize requirements, candidate outreach and evidence questions; we do not manufacture vehicles, hold stock, grant approvals or sell vehicles.
Start a Procurement BriefWorking method
Four records keep the sourcing task accountable
Duty record
Capture passenger count, cargo type, route length, grade, surface, climate, shift pattern, speed expectation and charging access. These facts prevent a general cart brochure from replacing the operating need.
Configuration record
List seating or cargo body, dimensions, payload, curb weight, battery chemistry and capacity basis, charger input, tires, brakes, lighting, enclosure and installed accessories.
Commercial record
State quantity by option set, target budget currency and per-unit or total-order basis, destination, Incoterm, sample need, inspection stage, payment milestones and quotation validity.
Evidence record
Request a dated quotation, model sheet, drawing where relevant, rating basis, battery and charger documentation, production checkpoint and exact-model compliance files without treating receipt as automatic approval.
Open questions stay visible instead of becoming assumptions. A supplier alternative is labeled as an alternative, with its effect on passenger capacity, payload, range basis, price scope and timing recorded for buyer review.
Responsibility boundaries
What the service does not establish
Clear roles matter because supplier statements, sourcing coordination and destination approval are different activities.
Are listed manufacturers already approved?
No blanket audit, authorization or approval is represented. The buyer should verify identity, facility, capability, references, commercial terms and documents for the contemplated order.
Does a quotation prove road-use eligibility?
No. Model, configuration, speed class and evidence must be reviewed against applicable federal, state and local requirements by qualified destination-side parties.
Can CampusCart Desk guarantee savings?
No fixed saving, lowest price or market discount is claimed. We compare aligned supplier responses and total procurement components; the buyer evaluates the resulting trade-offs.
Who owns technical acceptance?
The buyer and appointed advisers approve the requirement, evidence, inspection criteria and final contract. Our role is to keep the request and response record usable for that decision.
Bring the route, cart configuration and delivery scope
CampusCart Desk will organize them into a consistent request for candidate factory quotations.
